The NaI(Tl) scintillation detector is a hermetically sealed assembly which includes a high resolution diameter 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch NaI(Tl) crystal, a diameter 2 inch photomultiplier tube, an internal magnetic light shield, an aluminum housing and a 14 pin connector.
